I rediscovered the black rocking chair on which Dad swayed in the evening, while I blot in his arms, along the orange couch and Mom hosted its beautiful views, the target yellow and black, dart planted, along, all around, a multitude of tiny holes in the wall, the smell of the stone, the humidity of the campaign and the old wooden frames ... Everything is there, alive, fueling my senses and giving life to distant images that I did find that in old photo albums ...

Il est des lieux précieux qu'on imagine être vestiges, ruines, champs de bataille, et pourtant... Tout est là, rien n'a bougé en vingt deux ans.
Vingt deux ans ! Et bien plus encore, que dis-je ! L'imposante armoire bretonne regorge toujours de jeux, disques vinyles et autres babioles datant des années soixante dix... Le sablier s'est arrêté !
J'ai souvent pensé que j'étais toujours la petite fille que j'ai été, et que le monde autour de moi se muait sans cesse, se transformait au gré des modes, avancées et progrès de l'humanité, que les lieux de mon enfance, tels que je les avais connus, avaient tous définitivement disparus.
Il n'en est rien.
Cette belle Charentaise, digne vieille dame au parfum d'éternel, demeure, malgré tout, éblouissant mon âme et, plus que mes yeux d'enfant, me as a wife, mother and wife ...
