Monday morning
The garden was topped with white in the glow of dawn. Small footprints of birds traced a path discreet. We would have stayed there, to contemplate our little patch of garden, counting the buds, to marvel at the large bay on caressing each leaf with a thin layer of snow. The cold air rushing into our throats, our lungs deploying all wilted in the morning. We would have stayed there a few steps back on the veranda, gazing at the spectacle warm winter. Sitting on the African seat, facing the fireplace glowing embers, you'd closed your eyes, like a feline bliss. I would have looked tenderly, and time would have held his line until after dark ...

From Roscoff Roscoff to Carraroe Carraroe
04/05/2007 The
from Roscoff on Friday night 21 pm aboard the company Pon Aven Brittany Ferries, we arrive at the port of Cork (Ringaskiddy) after thirteen hours of crossing.
The trip went well but we arrive in a fairly thick fog and the foghorn sounded the ship regularly.
The ship is disturbing many schools of dolphins.
We see finally for the first time in Ireland and the colorful town of Cobh.
After disembarking at the port of Ringaskiddy, we drive up Carraroe qui se situe dans le Connemara à environ 240 km de là et où nous avons loué une petite maison de vacances.
Le soleil nous quittera en fin de journée.

En ce premier jour véritablement à Carraoe pas beaucoup de déplacement, nous essayons de nous repérer un peu car dans cette région la côte est tellement découpée que cela se mélange avec les lacs et les tourbières inondés.
Carraoe se An Cheatrù said Ruaen meaning in Gaelic "wedge red zone", this name is due to the hue of the heather colors the region.
We decided to go up Gorumna island through Lettermore island.
These two islands are connected to the mainland by small bridges. No tourist
on these islands. We imagine that life must be difficult here.
